Organic Content Standard Blended (<\/u><\/strong>OCS)<\/u>\u00a0applies to any product with requirements related to organic production that contains between 5 and 95% organic material. It\u2019s an international, voluntary standard that provides chain of custody verification for materials originating on a farm certified to recognized national organic standards.<\/span><\/p>

Organic Content Standard 100<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0(OCS)<\/u>applies to any product with requirements related to organic production that contains between 95% and 100% organic material. It verifies the presence and amount of organic material in a final product and tracks the flow of the raw material from its source to the final product. It also covers the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labelling, trading and distribution of a product that contains at least 95 percent certified \u2018organic\u2019 materials.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Recycled Blended Claim Standard (<\/u><\/strong>RCS)<\/u><\/p>

There is a growing consumer awareness of purchasing products containing recycled materials, which has led the textile industry, among others, to increasingly focus on this recycling market.<\/p>

As per label grade RCS offers two logo varieties:<\/p>

  • RCS blended (minimum 5% recycled material content);<\/li>
  • RCS 100 (minimum 95% recycled material content).<\/li><\/ul>

    Global Recycled Standard (<\/u><\/strong>GRS)<\/u><\/p>

    The GRS serves to meet the needs of companies seeking to verify the recycled content of their products (both finished and intermediate) and to verify responsible social, environmental, and chemical practices in their production.<\/p>

    The goals of the GRS are to define the requirements to guarantee specific characteristics regarding content and good working conditions, and that impacts related to the environment are minimized.
